666 Raffle

Maybe you remember, maybe you forgot. I been working (slowly) on doing felt pieces for 6 people as thanks for 666 followers.

At the moment, I am halfway through, but I am trying my best to finish these by the end of the year.

Jack of Art Trades

What haven’t I said about Jack of Art Trades yet? If you don’t know, it’s an Art Trading group on bsky that focuses on trading artists together at random, giving everyone a chance to meet someone new (or maybe getting that chance to talk to someone you know).

Website

Last time I wrote a post, I mentioned all the perks for the ranking system in JoAT.
All these new perks require more space than carrd can provide, so I’m working on a website. I hope it’ll be easier to navigate. While I love carrd, it does have it’s limitations, even with design.

The biggest motivator for having it’s own site, is a BLOG! I hope to use that to write future updates, news, & to give a moment to talk about the artists in our small community who participate.

I hadn’t expect JoAT to grow as much as it has already & I’m incredibley thankful for all the artists who have helped build a community with me.

Secret Santa

I have spoken about Secret Santa before on here, so while it’s not new “news”, I am excited. Everything is set to go for this event! There are plans to start in mid-October & I would love to be able to put information about this on the website.

Discord

While this isn’t majorly urgent. I am working on a discord on the side for Art Traders to join & maybe find trades on their own outside of the event. I do plan to use this for announcements for the event to couple alongside Bsky.

My husband & I are working on a bot as well to assist with everything to make art trades easier & to keep track of ranks. The database has already been made & we only need to beautify everything so it’s nice to look at.

Extra Stuff

As an extra surprise, my husband has also been working on a labeler for Bsky to see users ranks by their name! There are some technical difficulities on this front, so this may take a while.

There are also other rewards I’m working on, that are still a bit of a secret for the time being.

Santa’s Studio

This is the main event for the end of the year that I have been working so hard towards.

Santa’s Studio is a letters to Santa event. Anyone can write a letter for an art request & our studio elves will do our best to have gift art in time for the holidays. Not to be confused with a Secret Santa.

This event means the world to me, so I’m incredibly excited to introduce this community of holiday cheer to bsky! Currently, we’re waiting to recruit elves, but the main event won’t start til November.

And now for all the random things on the side that don’t fit into these bigger projects or don’t have too many words about them:

Shop

I’ve been slowly working on making a shop for my artwork on the side. Tidying up my work, jotting down ideas, trying new things to make stickers, pins, bookmarks, etc. It’s been really fun!

Of course, with the holiday events I’ve been planning, I don’t plan on sharing anything until next year.

Websites

Another thing that I’ve been working on on the side are some websites for my husband & mine’s projects. A website to contain all of our stories, comics, & video games that we want to work on & make.

My project page has stories yet to tell & I still have so much more not shared there! After being diagnosed with ADHD, I’ve gotten so much done this year. I cannot wait to delve into my own personal stories that I want to share.
