In his past life as a potato, his dreams of becoming an amazing dish were taken from him when wolves destroyed his farmers crops. As he was eaten by wolves, his cries were heard by a god, Lono. Lono pitied him and gave him a new life as a Human named “Keoni”. Keoni was blessed with a new life & the ability to create music.

Lono left Keoni at the doorstep of an infertile couple. Remembering his past life, young Keoni was saved time and again by the chef and his wife from trying to serve himself as a dish. At 5 yrs old, he came to terms with his situation and became passionate about cooking. He promised to give all fruits and vegetables the cooking they deserved.

Unfortunately, Keoni insisted on taking over the family restaurant despite his mother and father’s discouragement. It wasn’t long after that Keoni had shown his talents as a musician. People would fill the restaurant to hear Keoni cook, but would never stay to eat.

Now a runaway, Keoni is off to look for rumored culinary ware to improve his skills as a cook and show to his parents that he can be a chef.
